It is with great sadness that I say goodbye to a very dear friend and teacher. Sadly Bernadine lost her 5 year long battle against cancer.
A rose once grew where all could see, beside a garden wall, as the days passed, it spread its branches, straight and tall..... One day, a beam of light shone through a crevice that had opened wide - the rose bent gently towards its warmth, then passed beyond to the other side where it blooms more beautiful nurtured by God's loving care..
We will miss you dearly. Rest in peace.
